Alasannya pihak Yahoo! sedang melakukan upgrade semua database dan account email-nya.
Lucunya pengirimnya berasal dari mail_alert.center@yahoo.com (cukup mengecoh jika dilihat sekilas) dan dalam form registrasinya pengguna account Yahoo! diminta untuk mengisi Yahoo! ID dan Password-nya!. Dimana jika Anda mengisi dan mengirimkannya kembali, dapat dipastikan Yahoo! ID dan Password Anda jatuh ke tangan orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab.
