| Too stupid for words If you make a movie that falsely claims there's a massive conspiracy to expel dissenting voices, it's probably unwise to then expel dissenting voices.

| British Teeth [Night Note] To: Crecente From: Luke Today, Ash had the day off. Some Japanese public holiday, no doubt related to something noble, ancient and revered. Tomorrow, I have the day off. | Google's unhappy Android developers
(InfoWorld) InfoWorld - For a long time, Google has led a largely blissful existence, fostering a widespread perception — sometimes in direct contradiction to the facts — that it can do no wrong. Yet the company's controversial Android mobile platform venture threatens to seriously dent this notion, at least with some of the people it needs [...] [..] |

| Religulous I didn't get to see Bill Maher's Religulous, but apparently a lot of people did. It was on 502 theaters, and earned $3,500,000. For those keeping track, Ben Stein's Expelled earned $2,970,848 on its opening weekend, and was showing on 1,052 theaters. In other words, it earned less money despite showing on more screens.
Its reviews are kinda mixed, but it should be w [..] |

| Shorter conservative take on Obama's response to the imminent financial collapse I don't know, but I suspect that Republicans think we Obama-voters are thinking this about the collapse of AIG and Lehman brothers:
I can't wait until President-for-life Hussein Obama X puts these people all up against the wall and expropriates their funds to pay for slave reparations. As Atrios explains, we're heading towards a drastic financial situation. John Mc [..] |
