 Conde Nast, which has been busy building magazine-related applications for Facebook, has turned its attention to MySpace. The publisher introduced four MySpace apps today, a new application from teen-girl social network Flip (Flipbook Creator) which was created as a standalone social network but repositioned as a Facebook application in January.
The other appls written for MySpace include Style.com's Fashion Flash, Epicurious' Recipe of the Day, and Wired.com's Gadget Lab. All three were built for MySpace's developer platform, introduced in February.
The applications are Conde Nast's attempt to extend its various brands into the environments where their target readers -- or future readers -- are hanging out. As of January, CondeNet, the online arm of Conde Nast, had built 15 different Facebook applications.
