Send to email | Euro 2008: How To Watch It LIVE On The Web in TQCOM | By Silicon el 13-Jun-2008 |

Want to watch the world's top soccer powers battle it out in Euro 2008? It's never been easier if you've got access to cable TV: ESPN and ABC are showing all the games live, and there are plenty of replays and highlights.
Want to watch live at work? A tougher problem if you're a drone stuck in a TV-less office. Italy vs. Romania is going on now and Netherlands vs. France starts at 2:30 ET.
What to do? First option: ESPN 360. It's free and high quality, but good luck logging on. Due to the vagaries of ESPN's cable agreements it's only available in 28 million U.S. homes. European viewers can buy a package of live games at the Euro 2008 Web site.
But why do that when you can watch for free? Pilfered streams of European TV are available at Myp2p.com and Livetv.ru, with links to dozens of mostly PC-only P2P sites. Got a Mac? Justin.TV user "tvalerta" is streaming a live feed of ESPN Desportes, or try "sportsnetworkonline" for the English version. We found a few other Mac-compatible streams at channelsurfing.net.
Another option: ripped streams at Pirate Bay.
Want to watch on a super-tiny screen? Okey-doke: Qualcomm's (QCOM) MediaFLO launched a station called EURO which is carrying 21 games on select Verizon Wireless and AT&T (T) phones, if you pay their $15/month service fee.
Have a better solution? Let us know in comments.

| NBC Lawyers In Panic Mode, Scrambling To Stamp Out Internet Olympics Feeds | We view the Olympics as a global sporting tradition and consider ourselves citizens of the world, so we don't have much patience with country-specific broadcasting rights.
