Blaine Cook, Twitter's former lead architect, has a new job at Yahoo. As some of you may recall, Blaine left Twitter right around the same time that the microblogging/messaging service was becoming better known for its downtime than anything else. Some folks put 2+5 together and concluded that he'd been fired, though we were never convinced that was the case.
In any event, Valleywag has some of the details here, though we're pretty sure it also has some of them wrong, which prompted this Tweet from Blaine earlier today:
