el 24-Jul-2009 |  Mamoru Oshii, director of landmark anime Ghost in the Shell, has joined the Halo Legends project and will be working on a Halo anime for studio Production I.G.
This was confirmed via video message during the Halo panel at Comic-Con. Other studios that will be producing short films for Halo Legends include Bones, Studio 4 C, Casio Entertainment and Toei Animation. Most recently, Oshii helmed The Sky Crawlers. Mamoru Oshii Confirmed to Direct 1 Part of Halo Legends [ANN Thanks, Matt!]
