MySpace will be formally announcing its music joint venture with the big music labels today, via a conference call scheduled for 11am est. What we're hoping to hear about (but dubious about our odds):

Yesterday we noted that MySpace Music didn't have a launch date or a CEO. Today they've filled one of those those holes: MySpace CEO Chris DeWolfe has committed to a September launch.
