 What to guarantee a tepid response to a new handset launch? Go ahead and release a a phone that has been floating around on various other carriers for the better part of a year. Telus has done exactly that, making the HTC Touch Dual available to its subscribers beginning yesterday. The phone, which sports EV-DO Rev. A, the last gen TouchFLO interface, a slide out SureType Keypad, and 2.0 MP camera, can be had for $99 on a 3 year contract, though that will jump to $299 if you opt for a 2 year contract, $349.99 on a 1 year deal, and an astronomic $399.99 without an agreement. We honestly can’t imagine why anyone would take the plunge on this thing, especially with the Touch Pro coming out within the next week or so, but if you’re so inclined you can hit the link for more info.
