But now that all that's over, it's the day for your AAA video game drops. And this week's headliner is the super-douche helmed Call of Duty: World at War on five platforms.

Other heavies on the featured release day: Mirror's Edge (PS3, 360), Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for the 360, and Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 for the 360. Wednesday, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King arrives, heralding an epidemic of sunlight/vitamin D deficiency through at least February. Saturday PS3 and 360 gamers get Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
